David and his wife, Silvia, who both grew up in South Texas, moved with their young children William, Jonathan, and Katherine to Tyler in 2009. David has a great passion for Christian discipleship, mission, preaching and teaching, pastoral care, and outreach. He enjoys sports, the great outdoors, reading, and spending time with his family. All of the Luckenbachs possess a great love for the Lord and a passion for adventure. A graduate of Texas A&M and the School of Theology at the University of the South, David was ordained in the Diocese of West Texas in 1998 and has ministered in Episcopal churches in Texas and New Mexico.
