A series of paintings entitled The Seven Last Words of Christ is on display at Christ Church South Sundays and Wednesdays from 2:30pm-6pm during this Lenten season. The final utterances of our Lord leading up to His death appear across the four Gospels and leave us with a deep and poignant impression of the incomprehensible agony, selflessness and mercy of His passion.

 The paintings, on loan from Ernie & Julie Becker, were created by late local artist Nancy A. Berkhouse (mother of Julie), who was inspired by the Holy Spirit to share these works with others to encourage reflection, meditation and prayer during Lent.
