| The
Episcopal Church has a rich tradition of worship. Worship
is at the heart of the corporate life of the parish.
The
Holy Eucharist, also known as the Lord's Supper, is the principal
act of worship in the Episcopal Church. We offer the
fullness of the tradition through our services of Holy Eucharist,
Morning and Evening Prayer, and Evensong as contained in the
Book of Common Prayer.
The Book of Common Prayer offers the community, families,
and individuals a wealth of prayers and worship services for
virtually every occasion.
Worship enables all parishioners to participate, to give thanks
to God, and leave empowered to do God’s work in the
Church and in the world. At the end of the Holy Eucharist
we ask God to "...send us out to do the work you
have given us to do, to love and serve you as faithful witnesses
of Christ our Lord." Through worship we give thanks
and praise to God and then we are sent out as apostles in
witness to what God has done in Christ.
We
invite you to come worship with us.
