Sunday
Morning Education
Sunday school is held each Sunday throughout the school calendar
year. We have implemented the Rotation program at our church,
and the kids have thoroughly enjoyed the new activities. All
of our art projects are produced in the Garden of Eden, while
the Loaves and Fishes Café offers a variety of experiments
and cooking adventures. The Holyword Theater serves popcorn
and shows videos that are related to the current lessons, and
the Power and Glory Productions allows the children to wear
costumes and act out biblical stories. Thykingdom.com is the
computer lab where the children can listen to stories and play
games on the computer. The Caravan Tales is the site for storytelling
in a comfortable tent setting.
Sunday school for children ages 3-5 (those who have not completed kindergarten) is offered in our newest classroom--The Shepherd's Nook.
Depending on the church calendar, the children become involved
in high feast days by celebrating with a party or possibly
making things that can be distributed to others within our
parish and community. Vacation Bible School is always an adventure
for the children. Our entire church community comes together
to help with this week-long production so the children are
able to meet new faces, as well as have a great time learning
about Jesus.
It is our goal to teach the children to trust and deepen their
relationship with Christ through hands-on learning. We strive
to create a comfortable atmosphere for all ages and invite
you to join us.
