Harrison McLeod graduated from The University of Alabama in 1983 with a B.S. in Psychology. In 1989, after being married for one year, he and his wife, Jennifer, moved to Austin, Texas where he graduated from seminary at ETSS and she graduated from U.T. Law School. Upon graduation, Harrison was called as curate at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Birmingham, Alabama and Jennifer began a practice at a large law firm. Harrison was called as the rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Decatur, Alabama and served there for four years until he was called to his current position as rector of Christ Episcopal Church.

His wife Jennifer is the Director of the East Texas Communities Foundation and they have two sons.
