Community of Hope
The Community of Hope Circle of Care meets at various times during the year.
Community of Hope trains people who feel called to a special work of pastoral care. They are prepared for a vocation of pastoral care, healing prayer and given an opportunity for spiritual growth. Once trained, the members visit with those who are homebound or in nursing facilities. Members of Community of Hope at Christ Church have also been trained to take communion to those they visit. Community of Hope was asked to be Patient Advocates at the Bethesda Clinic in Tyler, and three of the members are either in training or already a part of this ministry.
If you are interested in participating in Community of Hope and would like to sign up for classes, please contact Carolyn in the church office, 903.597.9854.
